What is Plum Blossom Stakes Practice? 

This practice is a traditional practice on stakes which are set in the ground called (Meihua Zhuang) which resembles the blossom of a plum flower. According to ancient Shaolin history it is considered a legendary consummate skill. This practice dates back to the early Qing dynasty. It is used by the martial artist to develop balance, agility and strength. Practice on the stakes can be slow using deep stances and stretches to build strength and flexibility. It can also be practiced with fast dynamic footwork. It can be challenging and a lot of fun for all ages.
